Patient Charter
This charter sets out what you can expect from the team at Vestadent, and what we ask of you in return, so that we can look after your dental health well and treat you with respect.
What you can expect from us
- Respect and dignity. We will treat you courteously and without discrimination, and listen to your concerns.
- Clear information. We will explain your diagnosis, treatment options, risks and benefits in plain language so you can make informed decisions.
- Your consent. We will not begin treatment without your agreement, and you may ask questions or change your mind at any point.
- Transparent fees. We will give you a written treatment plan and estimate before treatment begins, so you know what to expect.
- Quality care. Your care will be provided by clinicians registered with the General Dental Council, working to current professional standards in a practice regulated by the Care Quality Commission.
- Confidentiality. We will keep your information secure and private, in line with our Privacy Policy.
- A clean, safe environment. We follow recognised infection-prevention and safety procedures.
- Access and timeliness. We will try to see you promptly, run to time, and explain any delays.
- Emergencies. During opening hours, call 0203 302 9290 for urgent problems; we aim to see registered patients as soon as possible. Outside opening hours, registered patients can call the same number for our emergency answerphone guidance. For urgent dental advice when we're closed, call NHS 111. In a life-threatening emergency, call 999.
What we ask of you
- Give us accurate information about your health and medical history, and tell us about any changes.
- Arrive on time for appointments. We don't charge for cancellations or missed appointments. As a courtesy to other patients, please give us as much notice as you can if you need to change or cancel — at least 2 working days where possible — so we can offer your slot to someone else.
- Treat our team and other patients with courtesy and respect.
- Follow the care and aftercare advice we give you, and ask if anything is unclear.
- Let us know promptly if you have any concerns, so we can help.
Your feedback
We welcome your comments — they help us improve. If something has not gone well, please see our Complaints Procedure. You can also share feedback at any time by emailing info@vestadent.co.uk or calling 0203 302 9290.
